Virtual Server Management
As a Continuum Hosting client you can automatically provision a server, allocating resources that best suit your site or application. A useful example of this would be creating a minimal server for development periods and scaling up for the launch of a site.
Full control over memory and processing, combined with our performance monitoring enables efficient budget control, adding the flexibility to allocate generous resources when things get really busy.
Bandwidth from multiple virtual servers is pooled for billing so reducing your costs. Unused bandwidth is carried over for one month, saving money on busy periods by smoothing usage.
Monitoring
Should our fault monitoring indicate an impending hardware failure or unacceptable server load, we will migrate your virtual server to our standby hardware with no downtime.
In the unlikely case of a more serious fault the downtime will be limited to between 2 and 15 minutes, during which the virtual server is restarted on our standby hardware and it's file system is checked.

With 128 MB RAM, scalable storage and backups the environment is scaled to suit development and offer a cost efficient service.
